Description

Room HBK 2120 is available for reserved use by PhD students for Zoom and in-person meetings/office hours, and quiet work time.

Room Use Parameters

• Advanced reservations: Individuals may reserve the room for up to two hours per week, either in a single block or split across multiple reservations. Requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Same-day reservations: To encourage maximum use of the space, same-day bookings are allowed without a weekly limit, up to two hours for that day.
• Users: In recognition that 90% of PhD students have a shared office space, use of the room is currently restricted to PhD students.

Requesting Use of the Room

1. Check the calendar below to see if the space is available during the time you desire.
2. Send an email to infofm@umd.edu with the following information:
   • Your name
   • Date(s) and time(s) requested
   • Name of the meeting/event

Room Features

The room has a fixed computer with webcam and a stationary telephone for use for domestic calls.

Access

The room has a card swipe. By default, all PhD students have access to the space. If your card swipe access does not work, email infofm@umd.edu with your name and UID.
