We have assembled two potential sets of furniture that fit within the University’s standard cost of $5,000.

Technology

The College’s updated standard is to provide the following for each new hire:

  • Two 24″ monitors ($320 total)
  • Docking station ($200)
  • Keyboard and mouse ($60)
  • Webcam ($60)

You may use one of the monitors at home, if you like, but separate monitors, docks, and keyboards/mice are not provided for home use.

This equipment is replaced on an eight-year cycle.

NOTE: Laptops are separate, and are replaced on a four-year cycle. If you’re curious where your computer stands, please email infotechsupport@umd.edu.
