🏫 What Rooms and Times?

πŸ—“οΈ How to Reserve

  • Reservations can be requested by emailing infofm@umd.edu.
    • Include:
      • Date, start time, and end time
      • Expected attendance
      • Audio visual needs (projection, Zoom, etc.)
      • Plans to serve food
      • Name of the group
      • Name and email of the group member who will be responsible for the space

πŸ•’ During Your Reservation

  • πŸ”‘ If the room is locked, obtain a key from the INFO Service Desk in the basement of Hornbake Library.
  • πŸ‘₯ The responsible group member must be present for the entire reservation.
  • πŸ”Š Keep noise at a respectful level for nearby rooms.
  • πŸ–₯️ If you’re using the room’s audio/visual equipment and you experience problems, call 301-405-5259.

🧹 After Your Reservation

  • Leave the room clean and ready for the next group:
    • πŸ—‘οΈ Remove trash.
    • πŸͺ‘ Return furniture to its original setup.
    • πŸ–ŠοΈ Erase boards.
  • πŸ“ž Report any damage or problems to infofm@umd.edu.

🚫 Not Allowed

  • Personal parties or outside business activities.
  • Storing belongings in the room outside reservation times.
  • Moving or tampering with technology or equipment.
  • Exceeding posted room capacity.

⚠️ Reminders

  • Some rooms may restrict food and drinkβ€”check specific room policies.
  • Academic classes and official university events have priority.
  • Misuse of rooms may result in loss of reservation privileges.
