Track I: ERIC Incubator (ERIC-I) involves at least 2 full-time faculty members with a primary appointment in INFO with research responsibilities.

Faculty interested in developing an ERIC-E will initially apply to this Incubator Track. Incubation involves regular meetings of the ERIC-I leadership team with the Research Support Team to jointly develop the plans and capabilities required to launch a Track II: ERIC-Established (ERIC-E). This phase includes:

• Scheduling and managing regular group meetings to identify and align interests
• Planning activities for communicating and coordinating research
• Planning public events
• Building a robust web and social media presence

The College will provide the following for:

• Direct costs of carrying out the proposed activities (up to $1k/year)
• Administrative support for carrying out the proposed activities (up to 2 hrs/week)
• IT infrastructure for collaboration, web, and social media presence
