The College of Information (INFO) currently provides WordPress themes for our hosted websites.
We use innovative branding and custom plugins to create dynamic websites. You can select one of our UMD branded themes or request a custom designed website theme.
Check out our themes at wpthemes.umd.edu. Under Themes, select a theme name then the home link to see the custom layout.

The INFO IT team offers WordPress websites for faculty & staff.
- You will need to select a domain – example https://domain.info.umd.edu
- We offer a variety of WordPress themes and plugins
- Users with an @umd.edu email address can manage your site
To request a new website complete the request form. Please allow 2-4 business days for setup.
